New York state health officials said Saturday that they are investigating a Brooklyn-based healthcare provider on suspicion that he violated state guidelines for distributing COVID-19 Vaccine.

ParCare’s Community Health Network “may have fraudulently obtained the COVID-19 vaccine, transferred it to facilities in other parts of the state in violation of state guidelines and transferred it to members of the public – in contrast to the state’s plan to administer it first to frontline healthcare,” the state health commissioner said Howard Zucker said in a statement that workers as well as nursing home residents and employees.
He added, « We take this matter very seriously, and the Ministry of Health will assist the state police in the criminal investigation of this matter. »

The ParCare Community could not be reached for comment.
And on its Facebook page, Tuesday, it published photos of the moderna vaccine, saying that its centers received the treatments that morning, five days after it was published that it was « authorized to distribute » the vaccine to people who meet certain criteria.
